Improving the circumstances, opportunities, and health of women has become more of a focus around the globe from many perspectives and I’m glad to see the awareness increasing. I covered the Clinton Global Initiative Summit in DC back in Sept and the three main topics on the agenda were jobs, the environment, and women/children. UN Ambassadors from around the globe had much to say on the topic. Women and Children were also a focus at Mashable’s 2011 Social Good Summit, which took place the same week.
My friend, Cindy Carrillo (author of the blog SheThinks and Chair of the Deming Center for Entrepreneurship) sent this to me and I thought it worthy of sharing.
